Day 7- It's been 1 Week!

We've now been on the road for 1 week!  Woo hoo!   Today, I slept in!  Again, thank you Aunt Nelly Sue!   We attempted to go to The Observatory today but it was closed, oh well.   I did get some good pictures from the outside.  

 We were very sad the Observatory was closed.   

We took the kids to a playground and played for awhile with the time that we had. We went to lunch and hung out at a cool bookstore- the first independent bookstore in Southern CA, Vroman's.   It was a great store with a wonderful kids section.   Unfortunately I controlled myself.  :)

Then we went home ate dinner and packed our first box, since Janel is moving while we are here.  Hopefully, tomorrow we can knock it out and still have some fun!
